Karel Lowette founded his architecture office in 1990 in Brussels. From the very beginning his ambition was to provide innovative solutions for renovation projects as well as new building for housing, working and commercial purposes and public facilities.
Thorough entrepreneurship set the tone to expand the core business to ARCHITECTURE, INTERIOR DESIGN, EXPERTISE, CONSULTANCY, CONCILIATION, SEURITY COORDINATION, ENERGY PERFORMANC CALCULATIONS, URBANISM.
A team of architects and civil engineer architects aims to develop sustainable designs. Much attention is given to aesthetics, materials and utilization in combination with the wishes of the client and the end users as well as to the value added to the surroundings.
Karel Lowette, being himself involved in public functions such as chairman of VOKA committee Brussels, vice-chairman of the executive committee of BECI and chairman of Ancienne Belgique, is inspired by the dynamics of the vibrant city of Brussels. The latter being a city which is significant on European level and has enormous potential for urban renewal.
The company statutes of bvba Architectuurbureau Lowette were adapted on 10 May and 18 November 2010, in accordance with the law Laruelle and approved by the Orde van Architecten.
